Stinky Toys - Boozy Creed

This is 'Stinky Toys' one and only single, released on Polydor in 1977. They were one of the first French punk bands and played at the 100 club sharing the bill with bands like the Sex Pistols, the Clash. the Damned and the Buzzcocks. They did go on to release two albums but neither of them caught on and by 1979 they had split up.

This is another donation from the Paulspizzle collection, so again leave a comment and say thanks for sharing this. 'The b-side 'Driver Blues' is my favourite of the two tracks here, but 'Boozy Creed' is not far behind.

The lead singer Ellie Medeiros went on to for an electro pop due Elli et Jacno and then went solo. She also appeared in a number of French Films.

Band: Stinky Toys

Merci beaucoup! I found recently their 1st LP in some other blog, I needed to hear their "Lonely lovers", that Lio turned into "Aoureux solitaires"... Not only Elli but also Jacno was a member of Stinky Toys.
Cheers,
Fernando :)

Thanks for this! It's much better than the review in the ancient Trouser Press. The one with Sir Johnny Rotten on the cover. I still have it somewhere.
