Billy Mure "Fireworks" (1958)

As is the norm I don’t plan on putting anything on this blog that is readily available to buy. I also do not wish to post anything that the artists or owners may not wish me to, so if anyone is unhappy then comment and I will make the required changes.
I'm not a believer in free music, someone has to pay for the artists to keep recording, and I have spent a small fortune myself over the years. So try out some of these MP3 downloads and then go out and buy the stuff that is readily available.

Man, you're so cool, you have these records on vinyl. A cursory glance at your past posts seem to indicate that you and I have very similar tastes in music, although I would not presume that those are the only kinds of music you listen to, just as I'm not limited to the likes of them as regards my musical palate. Anyway, you're cool, and that's my point.
Hi thanks for your comments, they are much appreciated.
You are right I listen to a lot of other music although Punk has always been one of my favorite genres.
I would be interested in what else you like, and maybe we could share some othe music. As my blog title is called I am always searching for music.
Thanks again
Thanks so much for this. I've been looking for this for years, my vinyl copy's scratched so much due to over playing all those years back!
Great taste in music. I like you, listen to a lot of different stuff, but always have a soft spot for 76-82 punk/new wave.
Cheers, Tony.
I found this blog today through Egg City Radio, and at first I thought it was very very weird - this guy has posted my collection of punk 45's exactly! I almost had to check if mine had been stolen... until I found this-which I didn't have but always wanted.
So thank you!
(I'll continue scrolling backwards through your older posts to find some more gems I've missed)
Keep up the stellar work mate!
Snatch were great. Nice one!
Always been and still are one of my favourite bands
Tony and Hank thanks for your comments, I only just found them down here.
Hank, I can imagine seeing your collection being posted daily, it must have felt a bit spooky
I will check out Egg City Radio, he's not on my list
Never heard them before, 'til now.
Thanks for another good one!
Hi Biopunk, thanks for the comment. I'm nearly jealous thinking of what it must be like to hear this for the time again.
FYI Judy Nylon put out a nice album called Pal Judy for On-U Sound c. 1981 - http://www.skysaw.org/onu/artists/judynylon.html
Hi anon, yep your right, I have a copy, but thanks for raising it, I don't know why I didn't mention it in the post.

Very good anon, thanks for the links.
Amazing find. I've got the 7"ers, but scratched & bumped to bits. Snatch were great. Thanks for this. Hope it's high bitrate;)
Hi anon, I think you might find the single are pretty scratchy here to.
Great blog man.I've been looking for the Snatch album in Flac format. I must say, altho the singles are "scratchy" the sound is so much fuller. Wish we could get the best of both worlds:)
Hi eddie thanks for the comment and compliment, much appreciated.
I think the FLAC format is catching on, I am finding more and more files in that format, but I haven't got time to rip and upload two version types, so until FLAC takes over the world.......
