The Only Ones - Lovers Of Today

The 'Only Ones' debut single. What an outstanding first release, and then they followed this with their equally brilliant 'Another Girl, Another Planet'.

I always loved the Only Ones, Peter Perrett has a distinctive voice which matches their music perfectly.

Check out the cover, I'm not sure what the guy on the right is wearing but he don't look too cool to me.

Yeah,
I always wanted to hear the story behind that mans clothes. Weird.

I'm also wondering about Dee Dees t-shirt on the cover of the Sub. Jungle lp.

The only possible explaination to the dress sense of John Perry is...Drugs. What was he on when he put on that??!! Must get round to posting a live show I've got of theirs from last years 'comeback tour' Top band, Take care mate.

It's actually a photo of a woman wearing fishnet stockings that's superimposed on the pic of the boys. Poor John Perry ended up with the fishnet-clad leg making him look a right tosser. Not that he would care.
