Another one, I know very little about. The only thing I do know is 'Jon Moss' (formerly of 'London' and latterly 'Culture Club') was also in 'The Edge on Drums and Vocals.
Anyone else know anything about the Edge?
This sounds like a 'poor man's Stranglers' to me, and I posted this more as a curiosity than a great song. But as usual I'll leave it for you to decide.

good single not heard that before
Hi Jamfan, I'm glad you liked it.
As you can see from the sleeve (!), Lu Edmonds who was later in The Damned and PIL, was also in the band...
just heard the album from 1980 square one its pretty good sounding like the stranglers a bit but some really good tunes on it
Hey Anon, I didn't even know who Lu Edmonds was!
hi gaz its on the powerpopcriminals blogspot once on there just search for the edge download and enjoy there about 6 really good tracks on there i did not take much notice of the edge at the time has there were about 20 new bands a week to check out but the single you posted had me looking for more thats what a good blog should do keep posting them obscure punk bands cheers jamfan
Lu Edmonds was in the Damned prior to The Edge, he appears on their second (and hugely underrated)album Music For Pleasure - for me better than Damned Damned Damned as they are moving away from the Stooges copyist thrash and finding their own sound.
Mr. B
Hi Mr B, thanks for your comment, I agree with you that Music for pleasure is underrated but for me, I'm still with the first album.
Hi. Retro Records have a CD out with all The Edge stuff on... It's superb. Vastly underrated, even unknown band. Check it out! In a nutshell,Jonnie and the Lubes, The Executive and Stranglers rolled into one, with a bit of Random Hold...Mark Clayton. Accrington.
