Now this has to be one of everyone's favorite punk records. This is "Menaces" second of five singles released in the late 1970's, and most probably the most famous. They did release a sixth EP in 1999 with a new version of "Carry No Banners" (their fourth single) which you can find at this link at Rollmops excellent blog
"GLC" must have one of punks most memorable chorus of all time:
"GLC, GLC, GLC,
GLC, GLC, GLC,
Your Full of Shit,
Shit, Shit, Shit , Shit, Shit"
What's even better in my opinion is the b-side. "I'm Civilised". It starts of with drums,. then
guitar, then a tinny sounding alarm clock (just like the one I used to have) and "Morgan" shouts out "Wake Up and Do Your Time" (I would like to get this programmed into an alarm clock), it made me feel angry in 1978 and I still sometimes feel like I'm doing time when I go to work now.
More etching trivia on this one, on the a-side it has "Fak Arf The World" and on the other side "Don't Worry"
Band: Menace
Label: Small Wonder
Year: 1978
Tracks:
1. GLC
2. I'm Civilised
Ripped from glorious scratched vinyl:
If you like this, then you are in luck, as all five singles and the b-sides have been collected on one CD, so go and buy now:

Hehe excellent post and thank you for the link ;-) I am discovering a lot of great stuff that I didnt know with your blog. Those singles were hard to find in my area in the 70s/80s. Thanx.
No problem Geranium, thanks for the comment
Nice 1 yet again. Screwed up was one of the first 12" I ever bought - GLC still sounds great, thanks! Andy C
I have screwed up as well on 12", I would of posted it but at the time couldn't be bothered to scan the covers (takes so long for 12")
I used to think it was 'Chelsea - you're full shit" - I still think that's kind of better.
