The Lurkers third and most successful single reaching number #45 in the UK charts. The first 15,000 also included the excellent Fulham Flirty Free, a gold flexi disc with the Lurkers playing around and finally singing along "We are the Chaos Brothers".
Unless you bought the reissue of their debut album 'Fulham Fallout' or much later on 'The Lurkers Beggars Banquet Single Collection' you won't have the 'Fulham Flirty Free' or the excellent b-side Ooh! Ooh! I Love You.
The Lurkers being one of my favourite bands especially as they were local and we knew them, over the years I kept a fair amount of Lurkers promotion material, fanzines and music paper clippings including the Lurkers hankie, I don't remember seeing many of these, anyone else got one?
Band: The Lurkers
Label: Beggars Banquet
Year: 1978
Tracks:
1. Ain't Got A Clue
2. Ooh! Ooh! I Love You
3. Fulham Flirty Free
Ripped from glorious (very) scratched vinyl and flexi discs
If you like this then you will love this (but surely you already have it):

Still got this one (and the re-issue with clear flexi) but I must admit I've never seen that hankie before. Nice one Gary.
Hi again!!
I had a further listening on both versions of Social Fools and yeah, they're slightly different - the Be Stiff EP version is 2:45, and the Come back Jonee 7'' is 2:51. Guess this last version is the one also featured on a special re-edition of Devo's debut.
I got Be Stiff from a blog as well (here in Brazil there are no releases on EPs, singles or anything like that, just full albuns - and to import them is still very expensive, it's absurd!), but it was a while ago. Tried to reach the link again to send you, but it's unavailble - but i'd be glad to upload it for you if you're interested. The songs are:
1. Jocko Homo (o-HI-o version)
2. Satisfaction
3. Be Stiff
4. Mongoloid
5. (I saw my baby gettin') Sloppy
6. Social Fools
I knew about this Rock Lobster single, but I had never listened to it before till i got it from you. It's REALLY amazing!!! As you said, the album versions are genius, but those blew my mind! Thank you so much for sharing!
Well, if you want the Devo ep, send me an email (wonderfool@gmail.com) or just comment here.
see you later
Marianna
Also got this one, with the golden disc.
Best wishes from Sweden
Used to have this one, with the gold flexi-disc. Sadly had to sell it years ago during hard times, so its great to hear the flexi again. Great single as well.
Cheers
