I don't know where or how Bruce (Rhodes) finds these records but I'm really glad he does. Thanks to his last offering and the comments (follow link if your interested), I am now a massive Androids Of Mu fan (can't believe its taken me 30 years).This time up we have the excellent Algebra Mothers. They hailed from Detroit and released this gem in 1979 on Aftertaste Records. Bruce sent this one in response to the last Devo post and said "there is a distinct Devo meet
David Byrne feel to this one". I can also hear a hint of Stranglers with the keyboard. I love the a-side 'Strawberry Cheesecake' which is clearly the stand out track, but the b-side 'Modern Noise' ain't bad. Woh!
