The Alan Milman Set - Stiches EP

This is the debut EP from the "The Alan Milman Set" another gem from the Bruce Rhodes collection. This was a real surprise to me for a few reasons, firstly I had never heard of "The Alan Milman Sect" secondly the a-side "Stitches In My Head" is brilliant, and thirdly after visiting the Alan Milman Myspace page I listened to some more of their stuff and purchased their equally excellent and same titled album "Stitches In My Head".

So thanks to Bruce you now have the same chance.

This 4 track EP was released in 1977 on Brtiz records and was called a mini album. Try it out and see what you think, I guarantee you will be singing the standout tracks "Stitches in my Head" and "I Wanna Kill Someone" all day. "

Band: The Alan Milman Sect
Label: Britz
Year: 1977
Tracks:
1. Punk Rock Xmas
2. Stiches in My Head
3. I Wanna Kill Someone
4. Teen Tour

Ripped from Bruces glorious scracthed vinyl (see comment for link)

If you like this you can still buy an excellent CD which has all of the material (including this debut single) they have ever recorded under "The Alan Milman Sect" and their second incarnation "Man-Ka-Zam" here for only $9.99, at a bargain price there no reason for you not to go and get it now:

Cheers for the info

Great to hear "Teen Tour" again--if I had known they would leave that tune off the "discography" I never would have spent the $$$. They should have just re-issued this 7" and left that other stuff to rot.

Alan Milman owned a record store in Seattle for some years (during the 90's) and still hangs out here I think. Kind of a kook, though. But the single is pretty good.
Cheers!
