Gardez Darkx second and final single is a massive change from their excellent first single 'Heartbeat' (follow link for earlier posting) I am still not sure about this one, they sound more polished but have moved away from their earlier punk sound to a more Jazz sound. The a-side 'Bliss' could fit on an 'Animal Nightlife' album easily. The b-side 'Winter' is in my opinion the better track.
But as usual I will leave it for you to decide, leave a comment and tell me what you think of this one, while you are leaving a comment can you leave a big thanks to Bruce Rhodes for providing this contribution. I didn't even know there was a second Gardez Darkx until he left a comment.

Hi Gary,
If you go to www.sugarshackrecords.co.uk,you'll find a bit more info regarding Gardez Darkx.
Apparently, there's two album's that were released by Latif Gardez!, after the Gardez Darkx 45's.
The band were called Mystery Slang.I'll definately have to check this one out.The reviews sound interesting, (a cocktail of Tom Waits,Doors and Nick Cave!) Hmmm?
I'll let you know.
Considering Tom waits, Nick Cave and the Doors are three of my favourites (in that order) then I would be very interested. I look forward t hearing what you think.
