Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers - Let Go 12"

Here's a real treat for you, from one of the best ever 'Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers'. Now I know your thinking I've got these, but according to the back cover (high res scan included in the download) these are 'Previously unreleased versions recorded at Essex Studios 20th and 22nd February 1977'. Now I have so many CD's and Vinyls from Johnny Thunders that I cannot be 100% sure, but after checking the different versions they are new.

So as another caption on the back cover states perfectly 'You can't put your arms around a memory but that's no good reason not enjoy again the punk perfect sound of the Heartbreakers who, in their day, were giants of the field'. As far as I'm concerned they still are, listen to these tracks 'Let Go' originally from their debut album L.A.M.F. still sounds as fresh today as it did in 77. Born to Loose and Chinese Rocks, both released on the same album as well as singles are outstanding. Three perfect punk gems for you to enjoy. The only other thing I can say is play loud, its the only way.

Band: Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers
Label: Jungle
Year: 1977 (12" Released 1983)
Tracks:
1. Let Go
2. Born To Loose
3. Chinese Rocks

A little bit of etching trivia on the a-side, there's 'another porky prime cut' and on the b-side 'Living in a jungle'/

Ripped from glorious scratched vinyl

Although I can't believe anyone hasn't already got this, if you think these songs are brilliant then buy this classic, timeless album:
L.a.M.F.

and if you like that then buy Johnny Thunders equally brilliant debut solo album:
So Alone
