Both sides are in mp3 format, ripped at 256kbps at 70p for each side (and their both worth having), so there's no excuse get over there and order yours now.
I've left the original post below so the repost comments make sense:
The Tickets - I'll Be Your Pinup Re-release Campaign:
Don't get too excited as this is not a posting for this excellent rare single, which you can hear some samples over at the outstanding Deadbeats and No Ones here. I heard the samples and really loved this song, and have failed to find a copy, and the original is a bit too pricey for me.
So I emailed the label "Bridgehouse Records" and asked if there was any chance that both sides could be re-released as mp3 files and made available on eMusic or iTunes, and this is the answer:
"If you can get some pre sales, I will get in the studio, and re record , the single we released in the late 70s"
So the question is, how many of you would commit to paying for the mp3's and getting this classic back into general circulation?
Leave a comment if your interested, and also please feel free to put this post in your own blog.
Clearly I'll put my marker down.
ReplyDeleteSend us the mp3's mate will ya! Only kidding mate. I will buy it too if its re-released.

ReplyDeleteHi James, I don't know what the plans are for the comp. I have been exchanging email with Terry regarding the Tickets and if there was enough interest they might release a CD single of the Tickets. So we will have to wait and see.
ReplyDeleteBridgehouse had some spare singles a while ago (not this one). I paid 4 quid for the Zorro by paypal, but turned out they never had any so I took the Warmjets instead and Terry threw in a Crack 7" for free. Terry said they had plans for a CD comp for all the Bridgehouse singles.
ReplyDelete(there was a typo in the deleted comment, just woke up!)
hmm, this is very rare,i wanna buy it on 7'' vinyl record,so,reissue?
ReplyDeleteGary Ching. Blogger, good all round guy and.........miracle worker!
ReplyDeleteNice one Gary.
Cheers Longy, your too nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm playing it right now, bloody brilliant.
Me too - Don't you just love it :-)
ReplyDeleteMy Bridge House collection is woeful but I have seen this single at record fairs and I don't remember the price being prohibitive. Rerelease it on vinyl and I'll cough up a few quid.
ReplyDeleteI did find a single by the Crunch on Bridge House in a charity shop last month.
Why is it every time I look in Charity shops there's a load of rubbish?
ReplyDeleteYou don't go to the right ones.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me I usually find utter excreta. I visit charity shops about five times a week and it's rare I'll find anything more exciting than a Dannii Minogue single.
But if anyone is interested one of my locals has an extensive Darling Buds collection.
Clearly I go to the wrong ones.
ReplyDeleteI do beleive you, my local ones are usually full of the worst examples of music.
This sold on ebay yesterday for under £20.
ReplyDeleteBridgehouse are a rip off.
ReplyDeleteI'll up both sides of this as lossless audio, for free -if anyones interested
Steve
I'd love to hear it
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear it
